I have been a member of Brookfield Farm for many years now and so appreciate the hard work and vision of the people at this CSA (community supported agriculture). They truly practice sustainable agriculture, which they describe as "having a triple bottom line: ecological, economic, and social." This gathering, organized by Amherst League of Women Voters, will give South Amherst residents (Precincts 7 and 8) an opportunity to meet with the candidates running from our district. After short introductory statements by candidates, participants will meet in small groups with each candidate for approximately 10 minutes, and a panel discussion among the candidates on issues raised and on the role of Town Council in shaping the new Amherst government will follow.

Bring your questions, concerns, and ideas that you would like your district councilors to know.
